I have already responded to a survey on the visit: I identified that there was a lack of sensitivity from the windscreen wipers. but the response was that the diagnostics did not identify a fault. Does it have to fail completely to trigger one?
BMW set high standards for customer satisfaction and the staff at Dick Lovetts Hungerford are exemplary in this field.

Unfortunately, the tyre supplier let them down so the simple job took far longer than expected. Not happy getting a MINI as a loan car, should be at least a similar car - especially for a Warranty job.
I have had some disappointing issues with Hungerford recently and they are working over capacity in my opinion. This means staff are struggling to communicate fully across their cross functional links and keep the customer accurately informed.
The staff were helpful & my car was serviced within the time scale given.

Multiple phone calls before my service appointment to confirm what is going to be done, only to be told something different on the day.
Service staff are efficient and friendly
Car was booked in easily and servicing was performed promptly, including accommodating my late request to fit four tyres. Good facilities to get some work done whilst waiting (nice coffee and decent biscuits as well).

The oil service was fine. Was told it would take an hour, so left the car for an hour and half. Not ready. No one updated me when it would be. I waited a further hour. Delays maybe inevitable but not providing updates is poor service.

Although the car is out of warranty, the control unit (which turned out to be the problem) should not have failed just 4 years and 40,000 miles into its' journey.The part was replaced at the expense of BMW.
Mostly good - only concern was slight issue getting confirmation by phone beforehand that parts were ready for my service visit

Helpful to deal with could remote battery ran out immediately after service which could have been changed
Recently serviced with 3 issues reported. Oil service - OK. Intermittent failure of fuel flap to open may be OK. High Voltage Battery not performing as expected still a problem. Range indicated as 26 miles after service - actual 14 miles.
THe answer should be obvious if I have given it 5 stars.

Car was returned with a scratch on front wing which is too deep to fully T-cut out. I did not see it until the next day as I picked up my car after dark. I saw no point in complaining as obviously if you were aware of it you would have told me.
It was only an MOT test!

The service experience was good but the downside was, someone with very muddy and oily boots had driven the car and left oil and dirt on the door sill and on the carpets

I brought my car in for it's first service and waited while it was completed. It was very efficient and I made use of the wifi, using my laptop while I waited.

Car returned in with no issues regarding the service and in clean condition.Drivers seat, steering wheel and mirror required repositioning back to suit me.E-mail service report could not be understood due to loud background noise.
