Car taken in for mot and check-up. Mot cost only about £30 and check-up revealed no advised problems.
End of the day, I have the car hired home because the work can't be done on the day.

I bought an approved used car and the sales team were all exceptionally helpful in being able to accommodate my requirements to make the deal. There was a slight issue with the roof when I collected the car ( z4 ) but was rectified quickly

Excellent facilities while waiting, clear pricing, friendly staff. Reduced by 1 star as mix up while waiting for car to be released kept me there 40 mins longer than needed to be.
I bought a service package for 5 years/50,000 miles which is very misleading as the service mileage intervals in fact means this is much less than 50,000 miles. I was then given conflicting prices for work to be done.

The ease with which we were able to drive test vehicles was excellent. Through the purchase process, there were no questions that the Dick Lovett team ( Jacob and Andrew) could not answer. The speed with which they located vehicles was impressive.

You need to sort out how you wait for a service representative. Generally you stand around for someone to become available. It's like waiting to go through passport control!

Great service nothing was a problem
Car collected and returned to my house in very clean condition at times stated. 4 star rather than 5 star because the first time I used it the "reset tyre pressure " warning displayed, perhaps because of work on the dashboard.

An appointment was made on a specific date for a named technician to complete and carry out a MOT re-test. On the day a different technician turned up to do the work. I was not consulted (very poor) and would have prefered to change the appointment.
Reason for last visit was to investigate a noise. Only gave four stars because unfortunately the noise is back so will have to take further time to bring car back again.

Having booked in the car online, I was not sure where to go on arrival. There is no signposting to suggest this is at Hungerford mini. On arrival at mini, the service assistant could not find the car on the system that I had logged in previously.
Two way process really, be nice to them and they're generally nice to you. I've been there so often with little problems that we know each other quite well.
The car was due to have a new tyre fitted, so I said I would wait. Thirty minutes later I was told the wrong tyre had been delivered by the suppliers. I was given a lift home, the next day the car was returned to me in the afternoon.
The car went in having been recovered by BMW assistance. Lovett said that they could not find anything wrong with the car (they also did a service). Just a few hundred miles latter the car has had to be recovered, dead, again.
Staff knowledgeable and efficient. Liked car wash service as an extra.Reasonable MOT price.

Been taking the car back to Hungerford since we bought it. Same as the previous 5 series.The staff know us and know what is important to us. Never fail to leave feeling totally satisfied with the outstanding service.

the 'list price' of the car was about three hundred pounds over the £40000 road tax 'threshold'. I was unaware of this situation and it was not pointed out to me until after I had signed the finance agreement. An earlier 'heads up' would have helped!
